Biography

Dr. Eric Schnakenberg is a board-certified family physician and a certified medical marijuana provider. He received his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Dr. Schnakenberg completed a family medicine residency at Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, NY, where he served as Chief Resident. He began his studies at The State University of New York at Stony Brook, earning his bachelor’s degree. He has experience in hospital-based medical care and outpatient primary medical care for all ages, from infants to older adults. Dr. Schnakenberg’s medical interests include teaching medical students and residents, electronic medical records, redesigning clinical office practice, and preventive health maintenance. As a family physician, Dr. Schnakenberg provides continuing and comprehensive health care for the individual and family. He is committed to serving you and your family with the utmost quality health care.
